GRANGE, Red (1903-1991). Professional American football player, primarily for the Chicago Bears and short-lived N.Y. Yankees. Grange was named the best college football player of all time. He is a charter member of both College and Pro football Halls of Fame. His #77 was retired by the University of Illinois. As an actor he appeared in a few movies.
