GARLAND, Judy (1922-1969) American actress, vaudevillian, singer, dancer, actress whose career spanned 45 years. Stunning 8”x10” vintage photograph from the 1940 film “Strike Up The Band” in which she co-starred with Mickey Rooney. This young starlet spends time in her garden of her home, enjoying the relaxation in the sunshine. Garland is eighteen years old, standing on a brick wall and holding onto a tree limb. Full length pose, smiling. Very boldly signed. Quite scarce to find a photograph of Garland that she didn’t inscribe. This photo is truly a treasure for the advanced collector and these cast images are a desirable prize. In V/G condition. The number “8482” is stamped in purple ink on the verso. Also, typed on verso are five lines about this MGM movie.........$2250.00
