A Fabulous Combination of Autographs

GAGARIN, Yuri  (1934-1968).  The first human to enter space as a space traveler.  Cosmonaut Gagarin flew into space on April 12, 1961, at a speed of 17,000 mph lasting one hour and forty-eight minutes in his Vostok space craft.  This hero of the Soviet Union was killed during a training mission six years after his historic flight.  He was only 34 years old.
BYKOVSKY, Valery  (1934-2019). One of the original six astronauts and the 5th Cosmonaut in space. This one man crew member set a space endurance record. He flew on three space flights including Vostok 5.   Very scarce booklet printed in Oslo, measures 6”x8.5”. The cover is printed in Norwegian and commemorates the visit of the two Russian Cosmonauts to their country.  When opened, the left side shows a full-page portrait of Bykovsky where he has signed his name in blue ink. Opposite is the same large size portrait of Gagarin, hand signed with excellent contrast.  These examples of their portraits are most unusual for their large size. A fabulous item:
