Rare A.NS. of Gagarin +2nd, 3RD and 4TH Cosmonauts
GAGARIN, Yuri (1934-1968). The first human to enter space as a space traveler. Cosmonaut Gagarin flew into space on April 12, 1961, at a speed of 17,000 mph lasting one hour and forty-eight minutes in his Vostok space craft. This hero of the Soviet Union was killed during a training mission six years after his historic flight. He was only 34 years old. Autograph note signed and dated by Gagarin on the verso of a calendar page from the year 1963. The note by Gagarin translated: “Dear Sasha, I wish a good health, Gagarin, April 18, 1963,” Just beneath his signature is signed by P. Popovich (4th Cosmonaut in space), A. Nikolayev ( 3rd Cosmonaut in space and married to Tereshkova) and G. Titov (2nd Cosmonaut in space). One of the finest signatures of Gagarin we have seen.
