Rare One of a Kind Item Signed By Two Famous Indian Scouts, a Circus owner, Custer’s Old Bugler, One of the most famous Western writers, A Custer Cavalry man, and some Pioneer Airmen and more.

Unique cover Commemorating The Dedication of the Old Fort Pembina Airport, North Dakota. Fine cachet of Old Fort Pembina in 1841 and a cachet of Ft. Pembina Airport, 1931. U.S. 5 cent Postage Stamp, cancelled “Pembina, Sept. 7, 1931, N.DAK.”

Signed near the bottom left part of the cover by Russell McNown, the pilot who flew this cover and one of the 50 pilots who attended this historic event.
Also hand signing this cover are:

G.W. Lillie, “Pawnee Bill” famous indian scout and circus owner, legendary frontiersman.
Benjamin F. Whitehouse
who adds “Custer Old Bugler.” He also organized the “Oklahoma Boomers” and led them in the land rush of 1889. He founded “Historic Wild West” tent show (1890) and was a partner with Buffalo Bill (1908-13).
Capt. Luther H. North. Pawnee Scout and a Captain in the Civil War.
C.O. Armstrong. He was with the Kislingbarry’s Mounted Party (1878).
Dr. Richard Tanner.  Famous western writer. Wonderful double signature also signing as “Diamond Dick“
C.S. Munhall.  He adds “Custer (Cavalry) 69-69.”
Walter R. Bullock.  Pioneer Minnesota Airman who enrolled in the Curtiss Flying School (1916). He flew tests for his pilot’s license on 11/21/1916.
John Morgan.  He adds the word “Chadron.”
Tom C. Grant.  Adds “Silver Tip” “Deadwood, So.Dak.”
J. Crabb. Adds “Winnipeg Flying Club V/P 1929.”
And one other signature not identified. A most unique collectible and in fine condition................................... $650.00
