FLANAGAN, Edward J. (1886-1948)  Catholic priest who founded the orphanage known as Boy’s Town in Nebraska. A 1938 film starring Spencer Tracy portrayed Flanagan in a movie that won Tracy an Academy Award for Best Actor.  In 2012 the Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha opened the canonization process. A 3”x5” slip where Father Flanagan has written: “Sincerely yours, God Bless You. Father Flanagan. Boys Town, Nebraska. U.S.A.”  Together with a color portrait of Father Flanagan on a postcard and a Boys Town Honorary Citizen Certificate.  All three items in fine condition..................$125.00
