VERY Desirable WWI Ace and Much More
FIESELER, Gerhard (1896-1987). German WWI fighter pilot. Ace credited with 19 victories + 3 unconfirmed. Flew with the Jasta 25. He was the highest scoring Ace on the Eastern Front to survive the WWI. He was awarded the 1st and 2nd Class iron Cross. After the war he became an aerobatic champion He won the inaugural World Aerobatic Championship in Paris in 1934. He designed his own stunt plane the Fieseler F1. Not only was he an aircraft designer but also a manufacturer. He produced 2,549 aircraft for the German military during WWII.
