Very Strange but True
LINCOLN, Evelyn (1910-1995). President John F. Kennedy’s personal secretary from 1953 until his assassination on Nov. 22, 1963. Mrs. Lincoln, who was in the third bus behind the President’s car when he was shot in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, became a macabre footnote to assassination lore linking two slain Presidents elected exactly 100 years apart. It was widely noted that Abraham Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy and President Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln. Wonderful 3”x5” card, affixed is a B&W portrait of Lincoln. She writes: “Evelyn Lincoln Personal Secretary to President Kennedy.” Included is an original Mass Card for President Kennedy. The two items in fine condition...............$125.00
