DOBRYNIN, Anatoly (1919-2010). Russian statesman, Soviet Ambassador to the United States (1962-1986). He denied the presence of Soviet missiles in Cuba. In the end he normalized Soviet-American relations. Scarce T.L.S. on the letterhead of Ambassador of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Washington, D.C., November 19, 1984 to Peggy Le Baron (wife of Robert LeBaron, Secretary of Defense during the Truman administration).
