DICKEY, James  (1923-1997). American novelist. He read a poem at the inauguration of president jimmy Carter (1977).. His popular book: “Deliverance.” Houghton Mifflin Co. 1970, First printing. Two hundred seventy-eight pages.  Signed “James Dickey” on the title page. The film version of this book was released in 1972. Dickey had a cameo appearance in the film as a sheriff.  Former owner’s rubber stamp on the half title page otherwise in near fine condition. Dust jacket in protective cover shows some wear. Not common to be found signed....... $450.00
