DEAN, Dizzy (1910-1974). Professional baseball player. Played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, and the St. Louis Browns. In 1953 he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Later he became a well-known radio sports announcer. FDC commemorating the first 100 years of baseball. Cachet of crossed bats, with a glove, ball, and hat.
