DANILOVA, Alexandra (1903-1997). Russian-born prima ballerina. In 1924 she and George Balanchine left Russia. They had a long time affair. She was a star of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s on stage, theatre and movies. Both Danilova and Balanchine are buried in the same cemetery.
