CUSHING, Peter (1913-1994). English actor. Best known for his roles in horror films of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. He is also known for his role as Grand Moff Tarkin in Star Wars. His career spanned six decades appearing in over 100 films. He appeared in 22 horror films. Vintage photograph (1940) B&W,.8”x10” head and shoulders pose in military uniform smoking a cigarette.
This portrait is of Cushing playing the part of Capt. Evans in Women In War (1940). Inscribed and signed in 1940: “Vernon- Thank you and Good Luck yours sincerely Peter Cushing.” In fine condition.........SOLD
