CROTHERS, Scatman (1910-1986) American actor, musician. During the 1930’s he played in a band in the speakeasies. He appeared in four films with Jack Nicholson including One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and The Shining. He was the first black person to appear regularly in a Los Angeles TV show.
