COSBY, Bill (1937- ) American stand-up comedian, actor, musician. Appeared in several movies. Known for his part as the Fat Albert character. Accused by over 60 women of rape and drug-related sexual assault. He was also accused of child sexual abuse. Many of his numerous awards were revoked. Twenty-five colleges/universities have rescinded honorary degrees. His television show was pulled from syndication. In court he was called a “serial rapist.” In 2018, he was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in State prison and was given a $25,0000 fine.
