CONNIFF, Ray (1916-2002). American composer, musician and player of the trombone. Between 1957 and 1968 he had 28 albums in America’s Top 40. The most famous one “Somewhere my Love” (1966) won a Grammy Award. Conniff had 10 Gold Albums and 2 Platinum. He sold 70 million records worldwide. His grave marker bears a musical score with the first 4 notes of “Somewhere my Love”. Photograph, black & white, 8”x10”, head & shoulders pose. Conniff has penned his famous 4 bars of music and the words “Somewhere my Love”. Inscribed, signed and dated “August 14, 1994”. In excellent condition ....$85.00
