Very Scarce Signed Book by Apollo XI Crew Member
COLLINS, Michael (1930- ) American astronaut, test pilot. Member of the 3 man team aboard Apollo XI. Collins piloted the command space craft as Armstrong and Aldrin walked on the moon. His book (Memoir): “Carrying The Fire/ An Astronaut’s Journeys.” Farrar, Straus & Giroux, New York, 2009. Four hundred seventy-eight pages, illustrated. This paperback is the 40th Anniversary Edition, printed in commemoration of Collins, Armstrong and Aldrin’s 1969 lunar landing. Forward by Charles A. Lindbergh.
