COLLINS, Michael (1930 - ) Born in Rome, an American astronaut. Test pilot, Maj. General in the USAF and artist. He flew into space twice. ON the Apollo 11 trip to the moon along with Armstrong and Aldrin he was command module pilot. Collins was the first person to have performed more than one space walk.
