America’s Most Distinguished Show COLE, James M.   Cole’s “All Star Circus” founded in 1938 by this showman.  He toured the nation with his Big Top Show with performing elephants.  James M. Cole became a circus legend.  Typed letter signed on his ornate, colorful letterhead.  December 18, 1945.  Fine circus content regarding getting back from a show and mentioning a few problems. In part he writes: “...it really is some job getting this opery (operation) ready, but I love it..”  Signed “Jim”.  Signatures of James M.
