BUNDY, Carol (1942-2001). American serial killer. Known as “The Sunset Strip Killer.” She and her husband are accountable for a series of murders in the Los Angeles area. She was charged of 2 of the 8 murders. She was sentenced to 52 years to life imprisonment. She died in prison from heart failure at the age of 61. Autograph letter signed, one very full page dated “June 7” to Rabbi Mike. She writes in part: "...but life’s been tough...I had a cornea transplant done. The cornea attached okay but the vision did not get better. And I’m getting ready for another one. I have 20/400 vision I use a special C.C. T.V. to read and write. Without it my lines go all over the place....” Bundy continues to write a 16 line funny story about what some young girls thought was under a scotsman’s kilt. She closes with: “ I don’t write so much anymore I don’t get any mail and I’m lonely. Write back, okay?. Miss you. Best Carol.” She draws two hearts one on each side of her name...In excellent condition.........$135.00
