Creature of the Black Lagoon when in the water BROWNING, Ricoe  (1930-2023) American film director, actor, producer, screenwriter,  underwater cinematographer and stuntman.  He was the creative force behind the movie and TV show Flipper. He is best known for his underwater scenes as the creature in the 1954 horror film The Creature From the Black Lagoon. Fabulous photograph, B&W, 8”x10” of Browning in Gill Man costume, coming out of the water.
