BRITTEN, Benjamin (1913-1976) British composer, pianist, Britain’s greatest 20th century composer. One of his best works was Peter Grimes. On his official card “From Benjamin Britten, The Red House Aldeburgh, Suffolk.” Typed: “Thank you very much indeed for your good wishes for my birthday.” He adds in his hand an autograph note signed: “My dear Jim and all and good luck to the orchestral dances - with love Benjamin B.” In fine condition..................$350.00
