The Grandmother of the Russian Revolution

BRESHKOVSKY, Catherine  (1844-1934).  Russian Revolutionist. Named “Babushka” & “The Grandmother of the Russian Revolution”. Imprisoned and exiled by Czarist authorities.  Autograph letter signed, one very full page, Prag, CZECHOSLOVAKIA, 7/2/1929.  After responding to a request for her autograph she states: “American citizens proved to be friends as the whole humanity and we Russians appreciate sincerely that excellent trait of your character. So accept my best feelings as my profound desire to see U.S.A. to aid the world to live in peace and prosperity….”  Signed in full. V/G..
