BLACKSTONE, Harry (1885-1965). Magician, during his lengthy career starting in Vaudeville before the turn of the century, he created many illusions including the “Indian Rope Trick” and “Vanishing Bird & Cage.” Very scarce “Playbill” from the Cass Theatre, Feb. 1955. “Blackstone The Magician”, the front cover bears a portrait of Blackstone, full face, which he has inscribed and signed. Together with a photograph of Harry Blackstone, Jr. 8”x10”, B&W, inscribed, signed and dated “6-4-88”. A wonderful combination.................................$275.00
