BITTAKER, Lawrence (1940- ) American serial killer, rapist and murderer. Teamed up with Roy Norris and they became known as the Tool Box Killers. The unforgiving press dubbed Bittaker as “Pliers.” Bittaker has a genius IQ and is serving a life sentence in San Quentin. T.L.SD., May 3, 1993 to Dear Nick. In part: “I imagine you heard from Bill (Bonin) by now about the signed card.” The rest of the letter goes into problems about getting the proper supplies and because of a mistake they will have to eat the costs.
