Bar Ilan University Named After Him BERLIN, Meir (Rabbi Bar Ilan). (1880-1949).  Rabbi and Zionist leader. He founded the Tel-Aviv daily paper Ha-Tzopen and Founder  and President of Mizrachi Movement. Bar-Ilan University in Ramat Gan founded in 1955 named after him. Very lengthy autograph letter signed, one full page on the Hotel Russell, London letterhead. Written and signed in Hebrew (not translated).
