Founder of the Diamond Industry in Palestine Founder and Long Time Mayor of Netanyah BEN-AMI, Oved (1905-1988).  Organized a committee to receive the first immigrants to reach Palestine after WWI. In 1928-29 he founded the city of Netanyah. He also founded the port city of Ashdod.  He conceived the idea of founding the diamond industry in Palestine. Very scarce typed letter signed, one page, 1938. Personal letter, not translated. Very boldly signed in Hebrew. Two file holes, otherwise in fine condition...........$150.00
