REISMAN, Garrett. Astronaut who threw the first pitch in the International Space Station for the Yankee game against the Red Sox. This was the first ceremonial pitch thrown from Space in Yankee history. He also carried dirt from the Yankee’s pitcher’s mound and a hat autographed by George Steinbrenner. ACABA, Joseph. Russian-Soyuz capsule was docked at the Space Station. Acaba threw the ceremonial pitch from aboard the International Space Station on May 28, 2012.
