Shared the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 ARAFAT, Yassir  (1929-2004).  First President of the Palestinian National Authority (1994-2004).  During his presidential period his clashes with Israel were prevalent. In 1993 he shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Shimon Perez and Yitzak Rabin. Arafat’s death may have resulted from poisoning. Photograph 3.5”x5.5” head and shoulders pose of Arafat looking into the camera.  Signed and dated along with a three word sentiment: with best wishes Yassir Arafat, 8.3.79.” In fine condition. PERES, Shimon  (1923-2016).  Israeli politician who served as both the ninth President of Israel and Prime Minister of Israel. He took part in planning the 1956 Suez War. His secret negotiations with Arafat’s PLO organization led to the involvement in planning the Oslo Accords. He shared the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize with Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin.  Color photograph 5.5”x8” of Peres, half length pose with hands clasped. Signed on the lower white margin.
