APPEL, Karel (1921-2006). Dutch painter, sculptor and poet. He was one of the founders of the Avant-Garde Cobra movement in 1948. Original hand addressed envelope to a collector in New York. French stamp cancelled Paris 12/31/1954. Appel signs his name on the rear flap and adds his address in Paris. Other than signed prints his autograph is somewhat uncommon...................$95.00  |
