ALEXANDRA (1844-1925). Queen of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Empress of India, wife of King Edward VII. At the death of Queen Victoria in 1901, Albert Edward became King & Emperor as Edward VII. Alexandra became Queen Empress. After Edward’s death, she became Queen Mother. During this time (1910) Alexandra used the Marlborough House as her London home. Heavy card with a crown and Marlborough House in raised print at the top left corner of the card. As Queen, Alexandra has written: “Alexandra, August 12, 1923. I hope you are feeling better after-long illness.” In excellent condition........$235.00
