General Election Tally Book, November 6, 1956. Election results filled in by hand, in ink, for President/Vice-President, Adlai Stevenson/Estes Kefauver and Dwight D. Eisenhower/Richard M. Nixon. For Governor Williams/Cobo and for Lieutenant Governor, Hart/Reid and Lindahl. Also, the votes counted for Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Treasurer, Auditor General, Representatives in Congress 10th Dist, State Senator 24th Dist, Representative in State Legislature, Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, County Clerk, County Treasurer, Register of Deeds, Drain Commissioner, Coroner, Justice of the Supreme Court, Judge of Probate, Circuit Court Commissioner, and a Proposed Amendment to the State Constitution. This original Tally Book was sent to Judge of probate and is for the One Precinct of Rosebush, Michigan. A very rare opportunity to own original election results in a presidential election.
