JOHNSON, Lyndon B. (1908-1973). Thirty-sixth President of the United States (1963-1969). Vice-President (1961-1963). Very scarce partly-engraved Document Signed, as President. Two pages, folio. Washington, May 6, 1966. Very large paper Seal of State affixed to the center of page two, to the left of Johnson’s bold dark signature. Countersigned by DEAN RUSK, Secretary of State. Richard C. Slade is charged with the crime of embezzlement and is a fugitive from the justice of the United States, supposed to have taken refuge in Germany……for the delivery of the above named fugitive into the custody or persons as may be duly authorized to receive the said fugitive and bring him back to the United States for trial.
